Job Summary
Transmit supervisor orders, work assignments, and instructions to a group engaged in fuel system operations and maintenance. Assign work, ensure proper utilization of personnel and equipment, and impart current or new occupational knowledge to workers. Operate motorized fueling vehicles (fuel tank trucks) and non-motorized fueling vehicles (hydrant carts). Fuel and de-fuel aircraft per flight crew requirements, perform accurate fueling calculations, and inspect fueling equipment and vehicles. Respond to fuel emergencies utilizing emergency response carts and comply with all security requirements. Complete and submit all documentation associated with fueling activities.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Must have previous experience in Fueling
- Must safely lift from 35 to over 100 pounds repetitively on a daily basis
- Must be willing to work in all weather conditions
- Must be dependable and able to take direction from supervisors to service the customer safely and on-time
- General math aptitude
- Good command of the English language both verbal and written
- Must comply with Swissport SOPs and policies
- Must comply with all federal, state, municipal, airport authority and carrier security requirements
