Job Summary
Leads a matrixed team of Construction, Engineering, Training, Tooling, Quality, Procurement and CWP development to prepare for and execute a defined portion of the project scope on the Pickering RFBR project at the Pickering Nuclear Generating Station. Responsible for delivering safely, on time, on budget and with quality; interfaces with client and CanAtom stakeholders to develop implementation plans; ensures readiness using the Canatom readiness process; drives field execution of the assigned scope with accountability across engineering, construction, procurement, tooling, training, and QC; monitors cost, schedule, quality, and safety metrics; develops training plans and playbooks to improve work efficiency and reduce human performance errors; develops, monitors and manages budgets for the assigned task; contribute to improvements in processes and procedures; requires strong leadership, interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a nuclear construction environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five years project management experience in a related role.
- Experience with project management toolset including planning, staffing, scheduling, risk management, performance measurement, and cost controls.
- Lean construction experience is an asset, especially related to workface performance improvement (Gemba).
- Demonstrated leadership of construction trades and professional project staff required.
- Working knowledge of construction safety programs, hazard identification and mitigation.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
