Job Summary
Prepare daily meals emphasizing authentic Italian cuisine and fresh ingredients, while cooking for family gatherings and social events up to 12 guests. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of a 500-square-metre residence to a high standard, including specialist care of marble floors and other high-quality surfaces. Manage grocery shopping and kitchen supplies, operate modern household equipment, and handle occasional school drop-offs or pick-ups for teenagers. Support the smooth day-to-day running of the household with a proactive attitude. This live-in position in Milan requires five weekdays plus Saturday mornings, with travel to a property in Tuscany during winter and summer holidays. Candidates must have three or more years of private housekeeping experience, conversational Italian and English, and an EU working permit.
Required Qualifications
- Three or more years of private housekeeper experience
- Two excellent checkable references
- Conversational Italian and English
- EU working permit
- Must be eligible to work in the EU
- Must be available for live-in position in Milan, Italy
- Must be available for travel to Tuscany for two weeks in winter holidays and longer trips in summer
- Must be comfortable managing both culinary and housekeeping duties
- Must be self-sufficient
