Job Summary
Develop, maintain, and optimize PHP-based modules and features while customizing WordPress themes and plugins using hooks, filters, and template hierarchy. Implement ACF field groups, manage custom post types, and build efficient MySQL queries with relational database design. Perform front-end adjustments using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery, adhering to MVC and OOP principles. Troubleshoot bugs, performance issues, and code inconsistencies while collaborating with designers, team members, and QA for smooth delivery. Requires 1–3 years of hands-on experience in PHP, WordPress, and MySQL. Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in PHP, WordPress, and MySQL
- Strong logical skills
- Good understanding of WordPress architecture
- Ability to work on custom development tasks with clean, maintainable code
- Strong Core PHP knowledge with good logical fundamentals
- MySQL (queries, joins, DB structure understanding)
- WordPress architecture, custom theme/plugin development
- Strong understanding of WP_Query, meta queries, taxonomy queries
- Experience with ACF (Advanced Custom Fields)
- Basic HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
- Understanding of MVC frameworks & OOP concepts
Desired Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of front-end frameworks (React/Vue/Angular)
- Git or basic version-control experience
- Familiarity with REST APIs
- Understanding of SEO-friendly WP development
- Tools: Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Trello, Zoho (if applicable)
