Job Summary
As a PHP Solutions Architect, you will lead the establishment of an IT Architecture practice and the adoption of methodology. Responsibilities include developing coding best practices and frameworks, writing clean performance code, outlining architectural best practices, optimizing applications, and driving new tech research. Required skills include at least five years of experience in PHP and WordPress, knowledge of PHP frameworks, third-party APIs, source control, and strong problem-solving abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years writing PHP
- Minimum five (5) years working in WordPress
- Experience with at least one PHP framework like Symphony, Laravel, CodeIgniter
- Experience leading IT Architecture decisions
- Knowledge working with common third-party APIs
- Knowledge and experience with W3 Standards and cross-browser compatibility
- Experience with source control such as Git or Mercurial
- Experience in guiding and mentoring junior developers
- Flexibility in a fast-paced dynamic environment with shifting roles and responsibilities
- Great communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working on PC platform
- Detail oriented and focus on quality assurance of work
