Job Summary
Manipulate and retouch images to achieve realistic outcomes, creating composite images from multiple sources with seamless lighting, shadows, and perspective. Recolor products to showcase stock options while maintaining accurate material textures, and clean up product photos by removing backgrounds, dust, and artifacts. Collaborate with internal teams to meet project specifications and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be amenable to nightshifts in the Eastern Timezone and own a computer with at least an i5 processor, 16 GB RAM, and necessary peripherals. A strong portfolio demonstrating before-and-after retouching work is required. Generative AI proficiency in Photoshop is a bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Photoshop
- Comprehensive understanding of advanced photo manipulation techniques, including masking, blending modes, retouching, and lighting correction
- Proven ability to create realistic lifestyle composites by matching light direction, shadows, depth, and perspective across multiple image sources
- Strong grasp of color theory and tonal adjustments to ensure accurate recoloring of products while maintaining material texture and realism
- Experience with cleaning and enhancing product photos for commercial use, including background removal, dust/artifact cleanup, and surface correction
- High-level proficiency in Adobe Photoshop
- A portfolio demonstrating expertise in lifestyle image creation, product recoloring, and before-and-after retouching work
- Must be amenable to work nightshifts (Eastern Timezone)
- Must have own equipment (Computer: Atleast i5, 16 GB Ram, Headset, Webcam, Microphone)
- Reliable internet connection and back ups
Desired Qualifications
- College degree – Associate's Degree or higher preferred
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communicator with strong collaboration skills
- Bonus points if you are proficient in using Generative AI features in Photoshop to enhance and elevate your work
- Illustrator experience is a bonus
