Job Summary
Lead and manage the final-stage development of a photonic quantum computing platform in the EPIQUE project, combining project coordination with hands-on lab work. Responsibilities include day-to-day project management, coordinating with partners on timelines and technical deliveries, detailed characterization and integration of photonic components (including homodyne detectors, photon counters, and feed-forward systems), writing technical reports and deliverables, participating in consortium meetings, and mentoring PhD students in the lab. Requires a PhD in integrated photonics, quantum optics, or related field, with proactive, concise technical writing and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- PhD degree in integrated photonics, quantum optics, or similar
- experience from similar work (ideally)
- diligent and proactive, with a flair for concise technical writing and good communication skills
