Job Summary
Photography Manager responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling all activities related to school photography across all studios in Quebec. Focuses on optimizing the use of photographers, ensuring consistency in team practices, coordinating training, managing the photography department budget, recruiting photographers, and providing hands-on coverage during peak periods and emergencies. Coordinates with management for operational alignment, evaluates new technologies/equipment, plans improvement projects, and supports multiple studios to deliver smooth photo shoot operations in a dynamic, seasonal environment.
Required Qualifications
- Recognized skills in photography
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field
- 2 or more years of experience in people management
- French proficiency required
- English may be used when communicating with English-speaking students, teachers, and staff
- Basic knowledge of Photoshop
- Experience in scheduling and coordinating operational teams
- Experience in school photography is an asset
- Knowledge of Salesforce and project management tools are an asset
- Strong management skills and excellent work organization
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills
- Strong collaboration skills and team spirit
- Professional, humble attitude focused on collective contribution
- Ability to train and supervise large groups (50 photographers or more)
- Ability to work in a dynamic, highly seasonal environment

- Access to a personal vehicle is strongly recommended due to potential travel to schools during photography seasons
