Job Summary
Photograph all live hockey action during Norfolk Admirals home games for in-house use, social media, and promotional materials. Capture game-day atmosphere, fan engagement, arena entertainment, and behind-the-scenes content including warmups and intermissions. Edit and organize photos in real time to generate social media content during games and provide high-quality photo galleries following matches. Post or assist in delivering in-game photos to social media platforms promptly. Collaborate with the Broadcast and Content Coordinator, marketing team, and other departments to ensure consistent content. Assist in capturing creative photo content for marketing campaigns, sponsor fulfillment, and player features. Available to work evenings, nights, and weekends during the 2026-27 season. Prior experience photographing live sports and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite are required.
Required Qualifications
- Experience photographing live sports
- Ability to edit photos quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines
- Familiarity with all major social media platforms, including Instagram, X/Twitter, Facebook, and TikTok
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Lightroom and Photoshop
- Reliable, with excellent technical, time management, and communication skills
- Available to work evenings and weekends during the Admirals' home schedule
- Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and take initiative
- Willingness to learn, take feedback, and grow as a content creator
Desired Qualifications
- Hockey experience
- Experience with DSLR or mirrorless camera equipment and sports photography settings
- Strong understanding and passion for hockey
