Job Summary
Cover day-to-day general, in-depth features, and investigative assignments for WCIV in Charleston, SC, shooting full high definition on media cards and editing on desktops and laptops. Produce general assignment stories, live shots, and natural sound packages while possessing strong editing skills in non-linear edit systems. Operate ENG news vehicles with a valid driver's license and lift between 25 and 50 pounds regularly. Collaborate as a team-player under tight deadlines to bring compelling stories to life.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of ENG experience with a network affiliate news organization
- At least 2 years of shooting experience
- Technical knowledge of editing and photo equipment
- Valid driver's license
- Good driving record
- Ability to operate ENG news vehicles
- Ability to edit and shoot general assignment stories
- Ability to edit and shoot live shots
- Ability to edit and shoot natural sound packages
- Ability to lift and carry between 25 and 50 pounds on a regular basis
- A passion for storytelling
