Photographer IV (Part Time)

Conduct technical photography assignments using special-purpose cameras where you make all technical decisions while operating officials determine the objective. Conceive and plan photographic effects, discuss modifications to original ideas based on equipment limits, and improvise methods or select secondary features like lighting and backgrounds. Set up precise measurement and control equipment, operate high-speed color photography with synchronized stroboscopic light sources, or arrange cameras operating at several thousand frames per second. Select and set up motion picture or television cameras to shoot production sequences or special scenes for effects. Work under subject-matter guidelines and consult supervisors only for highly unusual problems. Requires three years' experience as a still photographer or similar occupation.
