Job Summary
Create and oversee enterprise-wide digital assets within the photography studio, prioritizing a varied portfolio of digital imagery for Bass Pro and its subsidiaries. Collaborate with merchandisers, designers, and departmental counterparts to develop photographic presentations, ensuring correct tonal values, color balance, and minor retouching. Determine technical and aesthetic standards for each product, composing shots that are both visually appealing and informational while selecting locations, models, wardrobe, and props as needed. Operate studio camera systems and supporting software proficiently to maintain acceptable production levels. Conduct assignments with proper decorum as a representative of Bass Pro Shops, with some travel required for on-location work.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience of studio and location product photography
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license
- Must be at least 21 years old to qualify for this position
- Experienced with studio digital camera systems and supporting software
- Well versed in studio and location lighting
- Comprehensive experience in tabletop and product related people photography
- Familiar with sporting goods and their usage
- Some travel for on-location required
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum Degree Preferred: Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from accredited institution OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minor retouching (dust spotting, etc.) is expected to be done by the photographer
- A keen eye for detail
