Job Summary
Monitor wafer fabrication processes by responding to in-line issues and qualifying new tools. Coordinate scheduling for process qualifications and equipment downtime, then use software to analyze data, identify trends, and make processing decisions. Adjust process parameters when limits are exceeded and execute in-line changes (CPM) to equipment or processes. Continuously revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and develop improved processes to increase capability. Communicate technical information through presentations and complete other duties as assigned. Work in a 24x7 manufacturing environment wearing clean room suits and PPE, with a base salary between $70,480 and $179,090.
Required Qualifications
- BS or MS in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, or Computer Science
- Cumulative GPA Minimum: 3.0
- Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
- Willing to relocate to Austin, Texas
- Scripting in Python, VBA, or equivalent language
- Understanding of statistical methods
- Change Point Management
- Presentation and Technical Writing
- Understanding of Lean, TPS, or 5S principles
- Structure Problem Solving (8D, 7-step, etc..)
- Software Data Analysis software (Spotfire, JMP, Matlab, etc.)
- Troubleshooting Equipment or Process failures
- High Initiative
- Must be able to lift < 35 lbs
- Wear clean room suit and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) per the SAS FAB protocol
- Work in tight fitting, FAB environment
- Sits at a computer terminal, uses a computer for extended periods of time
- Vision – May be exposed to yellow lights, blinking lights
- Able to discern audible alarms
- Potential to work with materials which contain hazardous chemicals
- Support and/or work shift duties in a 24x7 manufacturing environment
