Job Summary
Repair cell phones, tablets, and other devices as needed, then receive, pack, and ship these units. Develop written procedures and technical videos for common repair activities while maintaining proper inventory. Participate in formal training of store associates, including tearing down devices, taking photos, and assisting with video training production. Follow all safety rules and regulations, wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role supports the start-up of the device repair function within Batteries Plus Bulbs while operating in the standard retail store environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum H.S. diploma/equivalent
- 3-6+ months of previous device repair experience
- Demonstrated technical aptitude
- Ability to quickly pick up on new processes and technologies without a lot of guidance
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Ability to effectively manage and track multiple commitments
- Ability to effectively prioritize
