Job Summary
Refinery Technician at Nevada Gold Mines within the Phoenix Process team responsible for movement and processing of carbon through handling circuits, carbon regeneration, elution, and related processing equipment. Duties include operating carbon pumps and dewatering screens, acid wash/elution circuits, kiln for carbon regeneration, and instrumentation including atomic absorption analyzer; collecting samples and recording data; ensuring safety, water balance, and regulatory compliance; and maintaining circuit cleanliness. Requires familiarity with PI, Wonderware, and DeltaV software, CDL or willingness to obtain CDL, HAZMAT or willingness to complete training, and ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days. Reports to the Metallurgical Planning Superintendent and supports both independent and team operations.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of process operations experience
- Familiarity with PI, Wonderware, and DeltaV
- CDL, or willingness to get CDL
- HAZMAT, or willingness to do HAZMAT training
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
