Job Summary
Ensure all planned maintenance activities for the truck and support fleet are properly executed in a safe and efficient manner. Track maintenance on a fleet of numerous pieces of surface mining equipment, conduct pre-shift inspections, and perform monthly Planned General Inspections. Perform employee performance evaluations, monitor safety performance and hours, and properly down code information into the Mining Dispatch System. Document incidents in RIMS, maintain quality control procedures, and review Field Level Risk Assessments. Promote a safe working environment, encourage continuous improvement initiatives, and provide support to operations as required.
Required Qualifications
- Five (5) years of experience in the maintenance of large, open-pit mobile equipment, in a planned maintenance environment
- Excellent leadership skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to cross train in Maintenance Planning
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with maintenance technicians and other site personnel
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of this job
Desired Qualifications
- Two (2) years of experience working in maintenance supervisory or lead role demonstrating increasing responsibility
- Demonstrate ability to use Microsoft Office, Oracle, and dispatch systems
