Job Summary
Phocas 2026 Graduate Programme in Christchurch, NZ offers a two-year rotation across four product teams. You’ll learn to use AI tools effectively while building a solid foundation in software engineering, writing code, and understanding systems and trade-offs. Ideal candidates recently graduating in software engineering or computer science, with experience in modern web/UI languages and frameworks, who communicate with empathy, have a growth mindset, and enjoy collaborative work. A transcript is required with application. Due to immigration restrictions, only applicants based in NZ with citizenship, residency, or a current work visa will be considered. Required Qualifications
- Recently graduated or is about to graduate with a degree in software engineering, computer science or similar
- Has experience with modern web and UI-oriented languages and frameworks
- Knows how to use AI tools effectively, applying them with good judgment
- Communicates with empathy and loves working with others
- Has a growth mindset and a real appetite for learning
- Available to start in November or early December 2026
- Transcript required with application
