Job Summary
Conduct venipunctures and capillary punctures to collect blood specimens from various patients, while performing point-of-care testing at the bedside. Provide clear instructions to patients for non-blood specimen collection and maintain accurate status records in the Laboratory Information System. Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and staff while maintaining the work area through disinfection and supply stocking. This entry-level role includes an 8-week training period and offers a salary range of $16.00 to $24.00 per hour, with night and evening shift differentials. Required Qualifications
- High School or Equivalent (GED)
- Ability to read, write, hear, speak, and comprehend the English language
