Job Summary
Part-time Phlebotomy Technician Skills Assistant supporting instructors by facilitating student skill development, evaluating and recording student performance, helping with skill labs and exams, and preparing students for externships. Responsibilities include assisting with blood collection techniques, communicating effectively with groups, guiding students in healthcare ethics and professional conduct, and maintaining current knowledge of the subject matter. Schedule is Monday-Thursday evenings (5:00pm-9:00pm) in Fremont, CA; compensation $20-$25/hour with potential bonuses and career growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Current California CPT1 license
- 1 year of experience preferred
- Proficiency in blood collection including capillary, syringes, vacutainer, and butterfly methods
- Comfortable with speaking to large groups
- Organized and detail oriented
