Job Summary
Part-time Phlebotomy Technician Skills Assistant to support lead instructor in student labs, assist in evaluating and recording student progress, help prepare students for externships, assist with grading and exams, and maintain current knowledge of phlebotomy techniques. Requires CPT-1 license, strong blood collection skills, comfort speaking to groups, and organized, detail-oriented approach. Morning, day, and evening shifts available (Tuesdays–Thursdays 5:30pm–9:00pm; some Monday availability may be required). Location-based roles in San Jose, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy Technician Certification (CPT-1)
- 1 year of relevant experience preferred
- Proficiency in blood collection including capillary, syringes, vacutainer, butterfly methods
- Comfortable with speaking to large groups
- Ability to multitask and think critically
- Organized and detail-oriented
