Job Summary
Lead Part-time Phlebotomy Technician Instructor to teach Phlebotomy topics, evaluate student performance, and prepare students for externships. Instruct in all aspects of the Phlebotomy Technician scope of practice, support values and professional attitudes, and serve as a professional role model. Schedule is Monday-Thursday evenings (5:30pm-9:30pm); program runs 3-12 weeks. Compensation between $32-$38/hour with opportunities for bonuses, raises, and promotions. Based in Pittsburg, CA; CALRegional healthcare training programs serving CA, TX, and AZ.
Required Qualifications
- Current CPT License
- 3 years of documented on-the-job experience in a CLIA lab within the last 5 years
- Must have proficiency in blood collection methods (capillary, syringe, vacutainer, butterfly)
- Must be comfortable with speaking to large groups, multi-tasking, and critical thinking
- Efficient with computers and technology
- Organized and detail-oriented
- No teaching experience required
