Assure accurate and timely collection of blood specimens, including age-appropriate procedures for school-age through late adults, and deliver samples to appropriate lab sections. Follow proper safety and identification procedures while maintaining inventory and monitoring expiration dates. Perform clerical functions such as entering lab orders into the LIS, printing reports, and filing requisitions. Adhere to Medical Center standards to promote a cooperative work environment and protect self and coworkers by preventing the spread of blood-borne diseases. Maintain a 40-hour schedule Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm with a base pay range of $19.80 to $29.70.
