Job Summary
Perform venipunctures and capillary punctures, collect throat swabs for culture, and instruct patients on proper urine specimen collection. Access computers to order tests, print labels, and collect demographic data while assisting with clerical tasks. Ensure the collecting area is stocked with supplies, print 'Specimen Collection' reports, and respond to all uncollected work listed on the report. Requires Phlebotomy Certification preferred and high school diploma or equivalent. Located in Lake Guntersville, Alabama, Marshall Medical Centers North is a 90-bed facility serving the Marshall County community.
