Phlebotomy Technician 1, Marshall Medical Centers North, Full Time, Shift Varies

Perform venipunctures and capillary punctures, collect throat swabs for culture, and instruct patients on proper urine specimen collection. Access computers to order tests, print labels, and collect demographic data while assisting with clerical tasks. Ensure the collecting area remains adequately stocked with supplies, print 'Specimen Collection' reports, and respond to uncollected work listed on reports. Requires Phlebotomy Certification (preferred), high school diploma or equivalent, and strong verbal communication skills. Full-time employment with varying shifts.
