Job Summary
Phlebotomy Site Coordinator role in Nashville, TN. Responsibilities include observing/reporting performance and staffing issues, managing patient flow and wait times, monitoring inventory and information logs, handling billing when required, ensuring data accuracy, performing venipuncture and specimen collection for various tests, promoting teamwork and customer service, and traveling to additional sites as needed. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, phlebotomy certification or training, and ability to pass a color blindness test; preferred supervision experience and phlebotomy license considerations. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training
- In lieu of state license, application for phlebotomy license filed with CA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement
- 2 years or more experience as a phlebotomist (preferred)
- 1 year or more experience supervising or leading a team (preferred)
- Color blindness test ability (required)
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently or in a team
- Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
