Job Summary
Phlebotomy Floater at Labcorp, based in Stockbridge, GA, performs venipuncture and capillary blood collections across age groups, collects specimens for drug screens, paternity and alcohol tests, and prepares samples for testing. Responsibilities include data entry of patient information, processing billing information, maintaining patient and specimen logs, and delivering superior customer service. The role requires travel to additional sites as needed, administrative/clerical duties, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or completed training; 2+ years of phlebotomy experience (5+ years preferred). Strong communication, customer service, flexibility for overtime, valid driver’s license, color-blindness screening, and the capacity to travel are required. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program
- 2+ years of phlebotomy experience (preferred 5+ years)
- Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
- Ability to travel to multiple sites as needed
- Color blindness test (standardized)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team
- Flexibility to work overtime
- Must be 21 years or older
