Phlebotomist

Perform venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks to obtain blood specimens while prioritizing patient convenience. Monitor worklists to ensure timely specimen collection, identify patients using full name and date of birth, and label specimens in the patient's presence. Process specimens via centrifugation, conduct iStat ACT patient testing and quality control, and enter collection data, physician orders, and comments into the LIS. Maintain a clean work environment and assist in employee training as needed. This safety-sensitive role requires proficiency in computer skills, strong time management, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced clinical setting.
