Phlebotomist

Perform blood draws, collect and label specimens, and execute centrifuging, freezing, and packaging tasks per established protocols. Verify test requisitions with computer labels, explain procedures to patients, and assist with urine and fecal collections. Maintain a clean environment through decontamination, follow OSHA and DEP safety regulations, and update patient information with attention to detail. Troubleshoot workflow issues, recommend improvements, and answer patient inquiries over the phone while providing laboratory results.
