Job Summary
Perform venipunctures and specimen collection with accuracy and patient comfort. Collect, label, and store specimens; centrifuge, freeze, and package for transport; verify test requisitions; explain procedures to patients; maintain a clean and safe lab environment; assist with troubleshooting, training, and workflow improvements; respond to patient inquiries and provide lab results; attend department trainings to stay current. Requires a High School Diploma or GED, phlebotomy certification, and 2+ years of phlebotomy experience; proficient in venipuncture techniques using straight and butterfly needles; proficient with Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications

- Phlebotomy certification (state-specific if applicable)
- 2+ years phlebotomy experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital setting
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated proficiency in venipuncture techniques using straight needles and butterfly needles
