Job Summary
Phlebotomist needed for a temporary employee wellness clinic serving a corporate workforce. Responsibilities include assisting with setup of mobile clinics within corporate environments, performing venipuncture and specimen collections, reviewing health history, updating electronic health records, assisting with referral scheduling and follow-up appointments, providing patient education on next steps, coordinating with insurance providers, establishing and maintaining relationships with service providers, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting clinic workflow with data tracking and basic spreadsheet reporting during on-site screening events. Ideal candidates hold an active clinical license or certification with BLS/ACLS, have phlebotomy experience, and are proficient with EMR systems, scheduling, and strong communication; ability to work independently and bring a personal device to charting tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted clinical license or certification
- Active BLS/ ACLS certification required
- Phlebotomy experience required (certification preferred)
- Proven experience with medical scheduling and familiarity with EMR system is a plus
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Customer service-oriented and has great bedside manner
- Comfortable working independently or with little to no supervision
- Must bring a personal laptop or tablet to each shift to complete electronic charting and documentation
- Must be able to reliably commute to Tampa, FL
