Job Summary
Perform phlebotomy and general lab-related duties within the medical practice setting, including point-of-care testing. Handle administrative and practice support tasks while maintaining communication with staff. Staff are assigned a home site but may provide coverage at other office sites if requested. Requires one year of healthcare/phlebotomy experience and preferred certification.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of healthcare/medical-phlebotomy experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with point-of-care (POC) testing
- Excellent communication skills
- Completion of a certified phlebotomy training program
- One year of hospital experience
- Computer experience
- Phlebotomy certification (CPT or equivalent)
