Job Summary
Phlebotomist needed at UofL Hospital in Louisville, KY. Responsibilities include performing phlebotomy procedures accurately within established turn-around times, proper handling and processing of specimens, ensuring documentation for medical necessity, maintaining patient confidentiality, and adhering to safety standards. Requires excellent customer service, strong organizational and computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and physicians. Prior phlebotomy program completion and CPR certification are required; phlebotomy certification is preferred. Must demonstrate professionalism and participate in training and continuing education as assigned.
