Phlebotomist Team Lead

Coordinate daily support operations for the Lab Associate group with direct supervision, serving as a functional supervisor and performing all job tasks and patient testing as needed. Ensure high-quality department workflow by implementing operational procedures, monitoring staff understanding, and reviewing exceptions with the supervisor. Act as a resource for Lab Associates, orient and train staff, and evaluate performance while managing minor procedure modifications. Handle patient and clinician inquiries, refer complex issues, and monitor data flow to notify the supervisor of deviations. Maintain clean, stocked work areas and coordinate purchasing supplies and equipment. Manage scheduling, timesheets, and payroll issues for staff. Work Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm, with a monthly on-call rotation and flexibility for shift changes or site coverage.
