Job Summary
Phlebotomy Team Lead role responsible for supervising a phlebotomy team across multiple Patient Service Centers and client sites, performing phlebotomy duties as needed, providing training and competency assessments, managing scheduling, patient flow, inventory, and customer service issues, and traveling to various sites to ensure coverage and quality across locations. Requires phlebotomy certification or accredited training, color-blindness testing, and a valid driver’s license; offers sign-on bonus and incentive plan eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- 3 years experience as a phlebotomist
- In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- In depth knowledge of phlebotomy duties, responsibilities and techniques
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record with reliable transportation
- Be at least 21 years’ old
