Job Summary
Provide coverage and travel to various sites to perform phlebotomy duties while assisting in the supervision of a team across multiple Patient Service Centers. Observe new employee performance, conduct regular site inspections, and deliver continuous training to staff. Manage patient flow, wait times, inventory levels, and information logs, addressing customer service issues promptly. Review daily and weekly schedules with a supervisor to make necessary adjustments. Complete new hire and annual competency assessments as directed. Work Monday through Friday between 6:00 am and 6:00 pm.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
- 3 years experience as a phlebotomist
- In depth knowledge of phlebotomy duties, responsibilities and techniques
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortably working under minimal supervision
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record with reliable transportation
- Be at least 21 years' old
- In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
