Job Summary
Phlebotomy Team Lead responsible for coverage and travel to multiple sites to perform phlebotomy duties; supervises a team of phlebotomists across multiple Patient Service Centers and client sites; conducts performance observations and training; performs site inspections and reports findings; manages patient flow, wait times, and inventories; ensures prompt customer service; coordinates daily/weekly scheduling with supervisor and adjusts as needed; promotes teamwork and effective communication; performs phlebotomy and site coordinator duties as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training
- Valid Driver's License
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- At least 21 years old
- In-depth knowledge of phlebotomy duties, responsibilities and techniques
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training
- 2 years or more experience as a phlebotomist
- 2 years or more experience as a phlebotomist in a hospital setting
- Phlebotomy licensure as applicable
- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
