Job Summary
The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) draws blood samples from patients and prepares specimens for lab testing while ensuring an atmosphere of trust and confidence. Responsibilities include accurate specimen collection, maintaining records, and demonstrating leadership behaviors.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent phlebotomy skills including pediatric and geriatric
- Minimum of 6 months experience in phlebotomy
- Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Desired Qualifications
- Phlebotomy certification (required in CA, NV, WA)
- Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
- Customer service experience in retail/service environment preferred
- Keyboard/data entry experience
Additional Requirements
- Candidates need to be within a 20-25 min commute window to ensure travel to/from the site
