Job Summary
The Phlebotomist (Patient Services Representative I) will draw blood samples, prepare specimens, maintain patient confidentiality, and ensure a safe environment while demonstrating leadership behaviors. High school diploma required, along with preferred medical assistant training and phlebotomy certification.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision
- Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric
- One(+) years phlebotomy experience preferred
- Candidates need to be within a 20-25 min commute window to ensure their ability to travel to/from the site for coverage
- Candidate should have at least 6 months working Phlebotomy experience
Desired Qualifications
- Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
- Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington)
- Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred
- Keyboard/data entry experience a must
Additional Requirements
- Must have at least 6 months working Phlebotomy experience
- Must be within a 20-25 min commute to the site
