Job Summary
The Phlebotomist will draw blood samples from patients for lab testing, while creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence. Responsibilities include following established practices for blood collection, maintaining patient confidentiality, and ensuring accurate documentation. This entry-level position requires excellent phlebotomy skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Required Qualifications
- 6 months minimum phlebotomy experience
- Excellent phlebotomy skills including pediatric and geriatric
- Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, and WA)
- Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Desired Qualifications
- Medical training as a medical assistant or paramedic
- Customer service experience in a retail or service environment
- Keyboard/data entry experience
