Job Summary
The Phlebotomist is responsible for drawing quality blood samples from patients and preparing specimens for lab testing, ensuring a safe and trusting environment. The role requires high school education and preferred medical training, with a minimum of 6 months relevant experience and excellent phlebotomy skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Phlebotomy certification preferred (Required in California, Nevada, and Washington)
- Minimum of 6 months experience required
- Ability to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision
Desired Qualifications
- Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
- One(+) years phlebotomy experience preferred
- Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred
- Keyboard/data entry experience a must
- Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric
Additional Requirements
- Must be flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime.
