Job Summary
The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) is responsible for drawing blood samples from patients and preparing specimens for lab testing while ensuring a quality experience. This role requires excellent phlebotomy skills, the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, and effective communication with patients.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric and capillary collections
- Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA)
- Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
- Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred
- Keyboard/data entry experience
Additional Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation, valid driver license, and clean driving record, if applicable
- Flexibility based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, and on-call
