Job Summary
The Phlebotomist is responsible for drawing quality blood samples from patients, preparing specimens for lab testing, and ensuring patient confidentiality and procedural accuracy. Applicants must have a minimum of three years experience in phlebotomy and a high school diploma or equivalent.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomy certification (required in California, Nevada, and Washington)
- Three years phlebotomy experience
- Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred
- Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric
Desired Qualifications
- Medical assistant or paramedic training
- Customer service in a retail or service environment
Additional Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation, valid driver license, and clean driving record, if applicable
- Flexible and available based on staffing needs, which includes weekends, holidays, on-call and overtime
