Phlebotomist

Job Summary
The Phlebotomist role focuses on drawing quality blood samples and maintaining patient trust while performing verification processes and promoting a positive image to patients. This position operates under the supervision of an area supervisor and requires strong organizational commitment, a commitment to policies and procedures, and the ability to maintain high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in phlebotomy and relevant certifications are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-3 years phlebotomy experience required
- Phlebotomy certification preferred, required in California, Nevada, and Washington
- Ability to provide quality, error free work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision
- Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric
- Must demonstrate Superior Customer Focus
Desired Qualifications
- Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
- Customer service in a retail or service environment highly preferred
- Keyboard/data entry experience
Additional Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation, valid driver license, and clean driving record, if applicable
