Job Summary
Provide exceptional patient care and customer-focused service by performing venipuncture on patients of all ages. Collect and prepare non-blood specimens while ensuring proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering. Champion safety, compliance, and quality control standards throughout daily operations. This role requires a high school diploma, previous phlebotomy training or experience, and certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians. Work 40 weekly hours in a fast-paced environment with routine access to Protected Health Information. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous phlebotomy training or experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Routine access to Protected Health Information (PHI)
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding PHI
- Ability to abide by all applicable privacy and security standards
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
- Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians
