Job Summary
Provide exceptional patient care and customer-focused service by performing venipuncture on patients of all ages and collecting/ preparing non-blood specimens. Ensure proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering while championing safety, compliance, and quality control. Work Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm as a full-time employee with 40 scheduled weekly hours. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous phlebotomy training or experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Routine access to Protected Health Information (PHI)
- Employees will be trained on reasonable safeguards and are expected to maintain strict confidentiality, as well as abide by all applicable privacy and security standards
- Employees are expected only to access PHI when it is required to fulfill job duties
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
- Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians
