Job Summary
Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Collect specimens, enter patient data accurately, process billing information, and prepare samples for testing. Maintain patient and specimen logs while providing superior customer service and handling administrative duties. Travel to additional sites as needed. Work Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Eligible for a quarterly incentive bonus based on performance metrics.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation
- Clean driving record if applicable
- Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
