Job Summary
Perform blood collections via venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups, including specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests. Enter patient data accurately, process billing and payments, and prepare specimens for testing while maintaining detailed logs. Provide superior customer service and handle administrative duties, traveling to additional sites when needed. Work Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm with flexibility for overtime. Requires a high school diploma, one year phlebotomy experience, and a clean driving record. Eligible for a quarterly incentive bonus and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation
- Clean driving record if applicable
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm schedule
- Travel to additional sites when needed
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomist
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
