Job Summary
In this role, you will collect blood, tissue, and fluid samples from patients, significantly impacting people’s lives by helping them identify underlying conditions and stay healthy. Responsibilities include prioritizing sample collection requests based on urgency, collecting patients’ personal information, determining the correct venipuncture method for each patient, providing reassurance during the collection process, using sterilized needles and equipment to draw blood, and labeling samples for testing. Previous experience as a Phlebotomist or Phlebotomy Technician is required, along with a preferred Phlebotomy diploma.

- Previous experience as a Phlebotomist or Phlebotomy Technician
Desired Qualifications
- Phlebotomy diploma preferred
- Knowledge of best practices in patient identification methods
- Familiarity with the legal requirements regarding blood draws and fluid samples
- Strong computer and data entry skills
