Job Summary
Provide safe, competent, quality care to designated patients based on established standards and evidenced-based practice. Demonstrate leadership to the phlebotomy department and function as a clinical resource for patients and staff. Manage copious amounts of information by using computer applications to input data and retrieve specific records. Maintain current BLS certification and communicate effectively with patients, staff, and others while demonstrating compassion. Requires a high school diploma, phlebotomy or paramedic certification, and preferred phlebotomy experience. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certificate or diploma in Phlebotomy or Paramedic Certification (or equivalent)
- BLS - Current
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and others
- Ability to demonstrate compassion and caring in dealing with patients
- Ability to use a computer application to manage copious amounts of information, including inputting data, and retrieving specific records
