Job Summary
Collect venous and capillary whole blood specimens and chain of custody urine and venous blood specimens for testing and transport. Accession, label, and procure specimens while registering patients and managing test orders in the EMR/LIS. Assist technologists and the Administrative Laboratory Director with laboratory operations as needed. This role serves neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Requires fundamental awareness in phlebotomy, quality assurance, specimen collection, and customer service. High School Diploma or GED required; less than one year of relevant experience.
